What makes Christianity different from any other faith?

PROBLEM
Our sin separates us from God.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)
PLAN
God loves us, so He himself, in the person of Jesus, paid the penalty for our sin on the cross.
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
ACHIEVEMENT
His resurrection proves He conquered death.
“He has handed over to die because of our sins, and he was raised to life to make us right with God.” (Romans 4:25)
OFFER
He offers forgiveness and eternal life by grace through faith in Him.
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23)
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is a gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
RESPONSE
We choose to believe and receive it.
“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)

Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and receive Your forgiveness. Today, I chose to trust and follow You as the Lord, Savior, and Leader of my life. Amen.
