Jonathan Howes, Lead Pastor
Jonathan was born in 1969 in Athens, Georgia and grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Jesus changed his life in the summer of 1986. Jonathan married Jennifer in May of 1995. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Jacksonville State University and a Master in Divinity Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jonathan and Jennifer have 3 kids: Joelan (13), Julia (11), and Jesslyn (2).
Jim Hollandsworth, Mission and Outreach Pastor
Jim was born in 1980 in Snellville, GA. He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from the University of Georgia and a Master of Divinity Degree from the McAfee School of Theology at Mercer University. Jim is married to Melinda and they have two children: Kate (3) and Will (born May 16, 2011).

Nate Rector, Pastor of Families and Spiritual Growth
Born in Atlanta, Ga. in 1981, Nathan accepted Christ at a young age and has been learning what it means to be a disciple ever since. In 2005 he graduated from Toccoa Falls College with a Bachelor's in Pastoral Ministries and 1 year later, married his wife, Jenn. God has prepared him for his role at Graystone by allowing him to work with students in differing capacities for the past 10 years.

Katie Landress, Children's Pastor
Katie was born in Athens, Georgia in 1983. At the age of 9 she gave her life to Christ and it’s been an amazing ride ever since. Katie earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communication in 2001 and a Masters of Arts in Education in 2010 from the University of Georgia. She has worked as a Children’s Director and in Marketing and Development. Katie married her husband, Chris, on December 8, 2007 and they have a dog named Sam.

Kyle Hale, Worship Leader
Kyle was born in 1981 in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He committed his life
to Christ at the age of 17 and hasn't looked back since. Kyle married
his wife, Tiffany, in May of 2004 and they had their first son in March
of 2008. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in
Marketing from Georgia College and State University. Kyle has been
leading worship for 10 years.

Jennifer Howes, Graystone Staff
Jennifer grew up in Coral Gables, Florida, and moved to Birmingham, AL in 1989 to attend Samford University. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education in 1993 and has worked as a College Minister, Children's Pastor and also a 2nd Grade Teacher. In 2006, Jennifer completed a Masters of Education degree in School Counseling. Jonathan and Jennifer married in 1995 and have 3 kids: Joelan (13), Julia (11), and Jesslyn (born June 13, 2008).

Elliott Rogers, Stewardship Pastor
Born in Bromley, England in 1980, Elliott accepted Christ at a young age and has been learning about God's grace ever since. In 2003, he graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's in Special Education and 1 month later, married his wife, Julie. In 2006, Elliott earned a Masters in Integrating Technology into the Classroom and in 2008 a Specialist in Leadership. Over the past eight years of teaching high school, God has been preparing him to take the step into full time ministry. Elliott and Julie have two boys, Ian (4) and Colin (2).

Heath Hollandsworth, Program Director
Heath was born in 1985 in Snellville, GA. Jesus Christ changed his life in December of 2003. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Marketing from the University of Georgia. He is not married nor does he have any children (but he does have three incredible nieces and one amazing nephew!). That is why his bio is so short.

Rusty Knight, Facilities Director
Rusty was born in Nashville, TN in 1979. He accepted Christ into his life when he was 4 years old. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Religion/Christian Ministry from Olivet Nazarene University and is currently completing a Diploma in Horticulture from Gwinnett Technical College. After college, Rusty spent 3 years serving as a missionary in Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Panamá. He does not have a dog yet and is not married.

Melissa Russell, Administrative Assistant
Melissa was born in Atlanta in 1979. She grew up in a Christian home & accepted Christ on Easter Sunday at 6 years old. She graduated from Berry College in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Communications, Sociology & Family/Consumer Sciences. In December 2009, she graduated from Piedmont College with an MBA in Health Care Management.

Lauren Vinson, Assistant to Student Pastor
Lauren was born in Birmingham, AL in 1984. She accepted Christ in her life at the age of 9 and has learned the importance of seeking the Lord in all of life’s seasons. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Georgia College & State University. She has worked with youth in a variety of ways for the past 5 years.

Chris Hunt, Student Ministry Intern
Chris was born on February 19, 1987. He grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and came to understand truly what Christ has done when he was a senior in high school. He has completed a Bachelor Degree in Psychology at Georgia Gwinnett College and the rest of his life has been a continuing journey of learning what it means to be an obedient follower of Jesus Christ.
