Serving Lunch to Walton County

Graystone Walton has a great opportunity to serve families in the Monroe area this summer! Last Thursday we started a weekly service project volunteering at The FISH in downtown Monroe. The FISH is a thrift store that, among many other things, organizes volunteers Monday through Friday mornings throughout the summer to pack lunches and deliver them to low income families that have children who get government assistance throughout the school year. In many cases, this sack lunch could be the only meal they receive for the entire day.

Five families from Graystone Walton came out and joined other churches from all over Walton County to help these kids in need and we had a blast! Come out and make a difference with us every Thursday this summer from 9:30AM-12:30PM.
